Hello everyone and welcome to my page!

I am so grateful to be teaching at Urbana Elementary School! I teach first grade and have wonderful students! They make me smile everyday. Teaching is my passion as I have the opporunity to make a difference in the lives of so many children. I believe that every child is special in many ways. I am so grateful to watch the children grow and reveal their skills throughout the year.

I  myself grew up in Frederick County and went to Frederick County Public Schools! I pursued my undergraduate degree at Marymount University in Arlington, VA where I played four years of women's basketball. I went on to obtain my Master of Education at Towson University in Baltimore, MD.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being at the beach, running, and playing sports! I love the team aspect. My favorite sports teams are the Ravens, Orioles and Penn State football!
