Hi!  My name is Kate Moats and I am excited to be a part of the Kindergarten team at Urbana Elementary for a second year.  This is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten.  I previously taught in Montgomery County, MD.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University and I am currently working on my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Hood College.

This is my seventh year teaching, and my third year here at Urbana!  I previously taught first grade for four years with FCPS; two of those years I was a targeting reading and math instructor. 

Hello, my name is Anne Marie Crosby, and I'm a kindergarten teacher at Urbana Elementary.

I taught first grade for 6 years and then moved to kindergarten where I have been teaching for the past seventeen years.  Responsibilities that I have held include team leader, mentor teacher, and targeted math intervention.  I was named to Who's Who in American Education in 2006.
