Hello!  Welcome parents.  My name is Mr. Flitton.

This is my 14th year of teaching.  I have taught 1st and 4th grade.

I believe in having a strong classroom management plan to ensure that students are provided with a conducive environment in which to be successful.

I am thrilled to be teaching the third grade magnet class at UES!  Welcome to my professional biography.

I completed my undergraduate work at Frostburg State University in Elementary and Middle School Education with concentration in mathematics.  I have a Masters Degree in Educational Studies with a Certificate in Gifted Education from Johns Hopkins University, and over 7 years of teaching experience in FCPS at both the Elementary and Middle School level.

I am honored to be teaching at Urbana Elementary! I never imagined having an experience quite as wonderful as the opportunities I face every day in the second grade magnet classroom.
